Classic Heriz strength comes through immediately in the large angular medallion and powerful red field. Navy, ivory, soft blue, and coral details sharpen the geometry, while the corner pieces and border give the rug a strong architectural presence. The floral elements are stylized rather than delicate, which is exactly what gives Heriz rugs their bold village character. Large enough for a serious room setting, this piece has the visual weight and graphic clarity expected from an antique Persian Heriz.

Lot # 457 is in good condition. The pile is mostly full , low and even. There is a repair at one end 10" x 5" and both ends are hand secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
