Soft wear and pale color give this vintage Persian Malayer runner a quiet, time-softened character. Three large rust-colored medallions stretch down the blue-gray field, each outlined with stepped ivory geometry and small internal devices. The side borders carry simplified tribal forms in faded rust, brown, ivory, and pale blue, keeping the long format from feeling empty. Rather than relying on dense ornament, the rug works through scale, spacing, and the contrast between its weathered field and bolder central medallions.

Lot # 456 is in good condition. The pile is full , low and even with no visible wear or tear signs. Light antique washed to soften the colors. The two ends are original and secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
