Birds, flowering branches, and small garden motifs animate the blue-gray field of this vintage Persian Malayer rug. The design has a charming folk-art quality, with repeated birds perched among angular stems, blossoms, and abstract plant forms. Rust, ivory, pale blue, and muted coral accents give the rug warmth without making it overly bright. The border is important but secondary here; the main appeal is the lively bird-and-garden pattern across the field.

Lot #458 is in good condition. The pile is mostly full , low and even throughout. Light antique washed to soften the colors. Both ends are original and securely finished .The sides are also secured. There are no visible wear or tear signs in the piece. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug is clean and floor ready.
