Description
This vintage rug from Morocco, features a chaotic mix of checkers, salmon-red stripes and colorful variegated details create a fervent allover pattern featuring polychromatic checkers rendered in a motley selection of olive green, rosy salmon red, ivory, kohl black and ashen gray. Subtle flecks of canary yellow, hot pink, electric purple and saturated jewel tones are interspersed among a diverse variety of neutrals. Checkered end pieces rendered in a textural combination of salmon pink, ivory, black and assorted accent colors line the ends of the elongated field. Carefully composed, this graphic mid century modern, vintage rug features bold accent colors and colorful checkers set among a background of textural neutrals that counterbalance the bold color scheme, polychromatic pile and fervent checkerboard pattern.
