A pair of Chinese dragon panels, presenting the powerful imperial symbolism and bold decorative character of one of China's most iconic design motifs. Dragon panels of this nature — where the commanding imperial dragon is rendered with expressive energy against a richly colored ground — are prized both for their visual impact and for the deep cultural significance they carry within the Chinese decorative tradition.

Both pieces in Lot #452 are in very good condition. The pile on both rugs is full and even. All ends are original and hand-secured, and the sides are also hand-secured. The foundations show no signs of dryness. Both pieces are clean and floor-ready.
