An engaging pairing of antique Persian tribal textiles consisting of a finely striped jijim and a boldly patterned bag face. The jijim displays rhythmic bands of color and intricate supplementary-weft decoration, while the bag face introduces stronger geometric forms and a more concentrated composition. Together, they illustrate two distinct aspects of Persian nomadic weaving: the broader decorative surface of the flatwoven jijim and the compact artistic intensity of a functional storage bag.
