Size: 8 ft 2 in x 4 ft 8 in (2.49 m x 1.42 m)
Provenance: From a European collector
A compelling Karabagh pictorial rug centered upon the Tree of Life, a symbol of regeneration, abundance, and the connection between the earthly and spiritual worlds. The composition combines narrative imagery with the bold, direct drawing of South Caucasian village weaving. Birds, animals, or flowering branches surround the tree with descriptive poetry Its vertical format and pictorial subject make the rug particularly suitable for wall display.
