Soft green, sand, ivory, and muted terracotta tones give this large Persian Sultanabad rug a calm decorative presence. The field is arranged with oversized palmettes, scrolling vines, and stylized floral forms, all drawn with the relaxed scale that makes Sultanabad carpets so adaptable in interiors. A wide border frames the design without making it feel heavy. Its appeal comes from balance: grand in size, but gentle in color and atmosphere.

Lot # 421 is in good condition. The pile is mostly full, low, and even, with scattered areas of minor wear. There are a few very minor repairs and some tinted areas throughout the rug. Both ends are complete and hand secured, and the sides are complete and secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug is clean and floor ready.
