The blue field gives this antique Persian Serapi Heriz rug an especially striking presence. Large angular palmettes, stylized vines, and geometric floral forms move across the surface in red, ivory, soft green, and navy. The darker border adds structure without overwhelming the open drawing. Bold but balanced, this room-size carpet would bring color, character, and architectural strength to a formal or collected interior.

Lot #301 is in good condition. The pile is mostly low and even throughout. There are minor loss of pile at both ends and both ends are hand secured. The sides are also secured. There are no visible wear or tear signs in the piece. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug is clean and floor ready.
