Description
Since the seventeenth century, Kerman has been one of the major weaving centers where some of the finest high-quality Persian carpets were woven. When Persian rug production moved into high gear in the later nineteenth century, Kerman once again emerged as a producer of the finest carpets in the best Persian tradition.
Lot # 5154 is in a very good condition. The pile is full and even with no visible wear and tear. The two ends are complete and secured. The two sides are original and complete and secured. There is no dryness or cracking in the foundation. This is a rug from an estate and needs to be cleaned.
