Vintage Märta Måås-Fjetterström Swedish Ulla Brandt Tjarn Rug

Size: 5 ft 7 in x 4 ft 2 in (1.7 m x 1.27 m)

Designed by Ulla Brandt in 1965 for the Marta Maas Fjetterstrom atelier, this vintage Swedish shag pile rya rug exemplifies mid-20th-century Scandinavian textile art. Named "Tjarn," meaning "tarn," it features a neutral background with sandy lines and blue pebbles, evoking mountain lakes. The abstract design and color contrast highlight its artistic and naturalistic essence.
