This stunning square Verner Panton vintage textile from the 1960’s features nine circles arranged in rows and columns of three that alternate between dark and light on a light gray background, known as the Kreis (Spectrum) pattern. Each circle is comprised of eight color blocked circles that either range from dark charcoal outer edges to white centers, or white outer edges to dark charcoal centers. The pattern is mesmerizing and deceptively simple, an icon of the illusionist styles of the time but that have proven to be timeless and attractive to both minimalist and pattern-mixing styles.
