Vintage Double Sided Gabbeh Persian Lion & Sun Rug

This spectacular vintage double-sided Persian Gabbeh rug is a truly exceptional example of the nomadic tradition, one side depicting a boldly rendered lion, the other presenting geometric motifs — a rare freeform duality that guarantees its individuality among all other Gabbeh weavings. Condition
Lot #375 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even with no visible tear or wear signs. The two ends are original and secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
