An unusual two-piece offering of antique Sarouk Farahan rugs, including one room-size carpet and a smaller related example. Both display the disciplined medallion drawing, richly layered borders, and deep nineteenth-century coloration associated with the Sarouk-Farahan weaving tradition. The contrast in scale makes the group particularly versatile: the larger rug may anchor a principal room while the smaller piece can create continuity elsewhere in the interior.
