Provenance: Inventory of the late Albert Karmely

Crafted in China around 1900, this antique rug showcases a minimalist design adorned with small floral sprays. Framed by a trellis of four rods, each accented with decorative balls and entwined with a leafy vine, the piece reflects the influence of the English Arts and Crafts Movement, suggesting it was possibly produced for Western export.
