Provenance: Collection of late notable London and New York dealer

An oversized antique Chinese carpet from circa 1920, it showcases the classical court weaving tradition. A wheat-colored field adorned with five deep blue medallions frames mirrored dragon motifs symbolizing wealth and happiness. The minimalist design includes fretwork and vine scroll borders. A controlled palette of blue and tan enhances its velvety pile, harmonizing beautifully with contemporary interiors.
