Provenance: Collection of late notable London and New York dealer

Crafted in 1920s Persia, a large, fine-weave Khorassan carpet exemplifies the esteemed weaving tradition of the region, with roots tracing back to the Timurid Empire. Shades of blue and brown combine in a repeating floral motif, evoking a serene, garden-like atmosphere. Art Deco influences are evident in the geometric shapes and well-defined motifs, making it ideal for formal settings or eclectic interiors.
