An antique Persian Tabriz Haji Jalili rug — a name of singular prestige within the world of antique carpets. The Haji Jalili workshop, active in Tabriz in the late 19th century, is celebrated for producing some of the most refined, beautifully colored, and technically accomplished carpets in the entire Persian weaving tradition — pieces whose exceptional artistry and distinctive palette have made them among the most sought-after by collectors worldwide.
Condition
Lot #281 is in very good condition. The pile is low and even with no visible signs of repair or tears. Both ends are original and hand-secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
