An antique Persian Sarouk Farahan rug, representing one of Persia's most distinguished weaving traditions. Sarouk Farahan carpets are prized among collectors for their refined floral designs, supple wool, and rich, deeply saturated palettes — qualities that have sustained their desirability across generations of discerning buyers.

Condition

Lot #202 is in good condition. The pile is full , low and mostly even. 

There is a partial loss of about 1/4 inch at both ends, and they are hand-secured. The sides require minor partial securing.

There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean.
