Description
In this stunning Lilihan Carpet, the artist conveys a feeling of movement through angular forms and patterns. The sandy tones are made all the more vivacious through the complementing presence of similar colors, each standing out against darker instances of blue and red. The large and darker border is filled with beautiful perennials and ferns, their designs repeating throughout as they help draw together the smaller borders in a single unified piece. At the core of the carpet, the background's color is the softest, which creates a grounding field for the presence of the other flowers within.
Overall very good condition. Good full pile throughout. Very minute spots of lower pile. Sides and ends complete and stabilized. This carpet has been given a light chemical wash to soften the colors but this has not affected the structure of the carpet.
