Originating from Persia around 1900, an antique Meshad Persian Khorassan rug displays fine spiraling vines adorned with palmettes and small flowers radiating from a central rosette. A decorative palette of soft blues, mauve, ivory, and aubergine accents defines the design. The main border reflects the field's elements, complemented by light blue-ground minor borders that enhance its frame.
