Jewel-like color gives this vintage Persian Qum rug immediate presence. A turquoise field surrounds a layered red and ivory medallion, while the red border is filled with finely detailed floral and paisley-inspired ornament. The drawing is dense, refined, and highly decorative, with the precision expected from a fine city weaving. Elegant and vivid, it would serve as a formal centerpiece in a room that can support rich color and intricate detail.

Lot #389 is in good condition. The pile is full and even with no visible  wear signs.  The two ends are complete and hand secured. The sides need partial re-salvage. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
