A Beautiful Rustic Fine Weave Large Size Antique Persian Kashan Mohtashem Rug, Country of Origin / Rug Type: Antique Persian Rug, Circa Date: Late 19th Century – The rug designs of Ustad Zufilkhar Ed Din Mohtashem are known as some of the finest and most desirable rugs in the world. They are often a fine weave and show exquisite detail. The colors and designs have a regal feel that makes a statement. This Mohtashem rug is an excellent example of the work of this master weaver who left an indelible mark on the world of carpet weaving.
Condition
Lot # 416 is in a fair condition. The pile is very low but even. There are scattered areas of tinted spots in the field and border. The two ends are original and hand secured. The sides are complete and secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
