Provenance: Property of a New York collector
Originating from the Farahan district in the late 19th century, this carpet displays a dense Herati pattern in a Mina Khani arrangement. The intricate design allows the dark blue field to subtly emerge. Taupe inner borders feature latch hook pyramids and colorful motifs on a neutral ground, enhanced by multiple guard bands, resulting in a richly colored composition.
