A fine Kum Kapi silk rug inspired by the powerful geometric vocabulary of medieval Seljuk carpets. Woven in Istanbul, Kum Kapi rugs represent one of the most technically ambitious traditions of late-Ottoman and early-Turkish workshop production. The design revisits the bold medallions, angular ornament, and strongly defined borders associated with early Anatolian carpets, translating them through a more refined workshop technique.
