This antique Turkish rug features a bold theme of hexagonal ornaments over a light blue field. Each shape in this antique rug embraces a jagged form within, forming alternately colored triangles that point inward like teeth in shark maws, nestling a white hourglass-like figure. The medallions are aligned in paired rows, each white-edged banner separated by bars with double-pointed arrows in a variety of vivid colors. A black background further sets the horizontal elements apart, and red markings in a tribal style offset the pale blue of each strip. Jagged edges along the left and right sides lead to a white border full of fanciful, geometric shapes exhibiting all the colors of the kilim rug in rotation. This lot is in very good condition. There are no tear or wear in this rug. The two ends and sides are complete and secured. This lot is clean and floor ready..
