Woven by hand in the ancient city of Sultanabad, this stunning antique carpet boasts vivid hues, striking symmetry, and unparalleled artistry. The piece begins with a smoky orange border that surrounds a series of intricate, narrow frames patterned with bright florals. A dramatic black border follows, overlaid with stunning geometrical motifs rendered in deep crimson, sophisticated blues, and soft sandy browns. A trio of narrow borders swiftly follow, giving way to the bold heart of this dramatic piece. A magnificent pattern of interlocking florals flows across a pastel orange field.
