Deep navy, warm red, rose, ivory, and muted green give this antique Persian Kashan rug a rich, classic presence. The field is densely filled with floral vines and a central medallion, while the red border frames the composition with warmth. Compared with paler Kashan examples, this piece feels more dramatic and jewel-toned. It has the traditional refinement associated with Persian workshop weaving, but the palette gives it extra decorative strength.

Lot #398 is in good condition. The pile is mostly full and even throughout. Both ends are original and securely finished. One side needs securing. There are no visible wear or tear signs in the piece. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug needs cleaning for a freash and clean look.
