The warm camel field gives this antique Persian Heriz Serapi rug a lighter and more open presence than many darker Heriz carpets. Its allover geometric pattern includes angular blossoms, serrated leaves, tribal floral devices, and scattered accents in rust, coral, blue, ivory, and brown. A terracotta border frames the field with softened structure. The rug feels rustic, decorative, and balanced, with a handsome aged character.

Lot # 356 is in good condition. The pile is low and even with no visible wear or tear signs. There are minor scattered tinted areas in the rug. There are also minor re-piled areas in the rug. There is monor loss of pile at both ends and hand secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
