Antique Persian Heriz Rug - Circa 1920

Size: 9 ft 1 in x 7 ft (2.76 m x 2.13 m)

Provenance: Property of a retired New York dealer

A handsome antique Heriz centered upon a powerful geometric medallion surrounded by angular vines and boldly rendered floral motifs. Warm terracotta and brick-red tones are balanced by blue and ivory accents, creating a strong composition without appearing harsh. Its practical room-size format and classic northwest Persian character make it highly versatile.
