Originating from Persia around 1880, an antique Serapi rug showcases the bold geometric style and fine wools characteristic of the Heriz region. Saturated colors, drawn from local plant dyes, enhance a central medallion with a stylized Herati pattern. The large-scale design and tribal motifs reflect artistic skill, making it suitable for contemporary interiors.
