Storytelling detail makes this antique Persian Bakhtiari runner especially engaging. The long dark field is populated with stylized trees, birds, deer-like animals, flowering plants, and architectural forms. Red, ivory, gold, teal, and soft green accents brighten the narrow composition. The imagery has a garden-like quality, giving the runner more personality than a standard hallway carpet. It would be striking in a gallery or corridor.

Lot #326 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even with no visible wear or tear signs. The two ends are complete and secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
