This small Bezalel rug presents a view of Jerusalem framed by menorahs, Hebrew script, and architectural ornament. The central scene shows walls, towers, trees, and a blue sky, giving the piece a strong commemorative and cultural identity. Its compact format makes it feel more like a pictorial textile than a conventional floor covering. The imagery, inscription, and devotional-national character all align well with early Israeli Bezalel weaving.

Lot # 424 is in very good condition. The pile is full and even with no visible wear signs. The two ends are hand secured. One side needs hand securing to preserve the piece for years. This rug is clean and floor ready.
