A late 19th-century Persian Isfahan shawl, this piece exemplifies fine weaving traditions with intricate patterns of partridges, floral bouquets, and strap-work accents. Featuring a vibrant brick red field, it is bordered by monochromatic sections and boteh motifs. The double-medallion design is enriched with scrolling patterns, ogival arches, and palmettes, showcasing sophisticated Indo-Persian aesthetics.
Lot # 201 is in its original and very good condition. All sides are secured. This lot is clean.
