Rows of small red boteh-like motifs fill the dark field of this antique Persian Kurdish kilim. The composition is framed by layered borders in red, blue, ivory, and gold, giving the flatweave a strong sense of rhythm from end to end. What makes the piece appealing is the contrast between its disciplined layout and its handmade irregularity. It feels graphic, tribal, and highly usable, especially in a long room, hallway, or layered interior.

Lot # 412 is in very good condition. There are no visble wear or tear signs in the piece. All sides are hand secured. This piece needs cleaning for a great and freash look.
