Size: 9 ft 6 in x 5 ft 10 in (2.9 m x 1.78 m)

Provenance: Property of a London collector

This Caucasian Soumak rug features three angular medallions filled with latch-hook motifs set against a striated ground of indigo and brick. Executed in flatweave, it retains crisp graphic clarity. Tribal rosettes and geometric borders enrich the composition, blending expressive detail with the structured vitality of southern Caucasus weaving tradition.

Lot # 316 is in a fair to good condition. There are minor areas of oxidized brown scattered in the rug. The two ends are complete with original fringes. The sides need minor securing in few spots. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean.
