An antique Caucasian Kazak masterpiece, dated 1319 Hijri (1901), exemplifies the robust artistic traditions of the Caucasus. Striking geometric patterns come alive in a vivid color palette of deep blue, red, and green, accented by cream and black. A central medallion, surrounded by intricate motifs and stylized animal figures, enhances its historical and artistic significance.
Condition
Lot # 106 is in good condition. The pile is full , low and even. One end is secured and has the original kilim. There is a minor loss at two spots in the other end that need to be either trimmed or reweave and secured.The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean.
