A vivid blue field sets the tone for this antique Caucasian Gendje rug, giving the red, yellow, ivory, and green motifs unusual brightness. Rather than relying on a single central medallion, the design spreads across the surface through large stylized floral and tribal forms. The red border adds warmth and keeps the composition grounded, while the smaller scattered ornaments give the rug its lively village-woven character.

Lot #431 is in good condition. The pile is mostly full and even throughout. One end is re-woven about 1" by the entire widht and both ends are secured. . The sides are also secured. There are no visible wear or tear signs in the piece. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug is clean and floor ready.
