This Art Deco Chinese rug features cascading floral sprays in jewel tones drifting across a golden saffron field, framed by a celadon border. Asymmetrical and painterly, it evokes scroll-like elegance. Lustrous wool and tonal variation enrich its modernist interpretation of tradition, blending grace, whimsy, and early 20th-century refinement.

Lot # 320 is in an excellent condition. The pile is full and even with no visible wear and tear signs. The two ends are original and secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
